I spent two weeks at communications research centre, Fabrica in Treviso, Italy where I joined the Being and Dying studio, led by Ivor Williams. The studio is a research based studio, focusing on using design to develop better ways of living and dying. i.e. exploring wellbeing and analysis of the quantitative self as well as palliative and end of life care.
My brief was to explore ways of connecting public space and public health and bringing the notion of dying into the public realm.
In the two weeks that I spent in Treviso, I was able to appreciate the value of the design process as a opportunity for experimentation and testing and the sharing of ideas.
This blog charts the development of my ideas from the initial brief from start to finish. 297×420.wordpress.com »
